Good morning from 84-degree weather in Southern California!! (I just rubbed that in….’“bad LaTonya…LOL!)
As you read this, I am still in bed or already up on the computer, starting work on a book that is soon to come out!
More specifically, I’m trying to get my last day in of rest before school starts and I meet all 30+ of my students at the college.
Oh yeah, did you know I’m also an associate professor now? YEP! I am.
Like most of you, however, my day will include scrolling my social media networks. Do you struggle with that? We’re all human.
But one of the most important things I’ve learned during my scrolling is SEO and how specific keywords matter.
I don’t know about you, but I love scrolling for specific words and watching how algorithms pick up on certain sentencing.
Depending on those keywords, I “brand” watch. Don’t judge me… though it can be considered a bad habit, it has made me a better expert on how I instruct.
When it comes to how you use these social media networks and your very own behavior, my findings are this:
- Many people are not setting up keywords to attract their ideal clientele, more than likely because they have never been taught how
- It is the content within a post that will hold a person’s attention (content includes the word message, images, and/or video).
- The use of certain tools will increase your being found through algorithms
We don’t know what we don’t know until we begin to long for something. As the first stage of the customer journey is AWARENESS, we all recognize that we have pain points, which could be how we obtain more customers or get more sales, and our need answers on how to get them
There are things when it comes to these social media platforms that you need to know to ensure you are not just posting, but the posts are bringing back old customers and new customers.
