What I’ve found is:

The better your writing, the easier it gets. So, how do ya write better? I thought about it for a few days.

Like, what would I even tell you? Where do I even begin?

Books?

Formulas?

Checklists?

But then I was like:

“LaTonya, girl, ain’t nobody got time for that.”

 

 

So I narrowed it down to one thing. And here it is: Open up the gates, in search of great writing.

Cuz, think about it: If you only read narrowly? Like internet marketing material? Or you swipe stuff from gurus? You’ll sound just like ’em.

But if you open up the gates? You’ll find words, phrases, flows, styles, tones, techniques, etc. that nobody else is using  And the more you study it? And let it guide you? To create your own, original material? Well, the more fascinating your words become. You’ll absorb best practices automatically.

 

Celebrity gossip sites are loaded with amazing headlines.

Takeaways? Interesting words, curiosity, emotion, And you just keep goin’.

There’s:

• Song lyrics for storytelling.
• Movie scripts for dialogue.

 

You literally can’t mess this up. Unless you don’t do it. This is why I’m giving you quick, easy, no-cost ideas. Behind every TV commercial that made you laugh out loud. You get the point.

Just be on the hunt, constantly. And jot down anything that floats your boat. Appreciate what makes it so remarkable, and then apply those principles whenever you peck the keyboard.
